The Outreach Challenge tackles critical issues faced by adolescents in Nigeria, including sexual grooming, cross-generational sexual relationships, HIV infections, and unwanted pregnancies. Our initiative aims to equip young people with the knowledge, resources, and skills they need to make informed decisions about their sexual health.

Through the Outreach Challenge, we provide adolescents with the tools and support they need to make informed choices. By using creative and engaging mediums such as the “Unexpected” comic and animation series, we make education accessible, relatable, and effective. Our initiative fosters open conversations on sensitive topics like sexual grooming, HIV prevention, and healthy relationships.

Our Approach

We deliver the Outreach Challenge through several strategic actions:

Objective 1

Create Safe Spaces for adolescents to express themselves and seek guidance without fear of judgment or discrimination.

Objective 2

Provide Counseling and Helplines for ongoing support, ensuring young people have a confidential platform for advice and assistance.

Objective 3

Sensitize on Sexual Grooming and Predators through captivating storytelling techniques, helping adolescents recognize and resist sexual predators.

Objective 4

Distribute Educational Materials to every adolescent, including comics and videos that encourage peer-to-peer learning.

Objective 5

Raise Awareness on Sexual Assault through comprehensive media campaigns, using social media, television, and podcasts to address manipulation and ignorance.

Support Victims by connecting them with relevant organizations for legal aid and emotional support.

Objective 7

Reduce Unintended Pregnancies by lowering rates of unplanned pregnancy among adolescents.

Address Sex Addiction through targeted interventions that promote healthy sexual behavior.

Prevent School Dropout related to sexual exploitation, ensuring a safe and supportive educational environment.

Combat HIV/AIDS Prevalence by educating adolescents on prevention and support services.

Curb STD Spread by promoting safe sexual practices and awareness.

Tackle Teenage Prostitution by providing viable alternatives and comprehensive support systems.

Our Impact So Far

The Orphanage Feeding Support Program not only provides immediate relief from hunger but also aims to create long-term change. By improving school attendance and performance, fostering emotional and intellectual growth, and preparing children for parity with their more privileged peers, we lay the groundwork for a better future.

Adolescent Reach

Since its launch, the Outreach Challenge has engaged over 6,000 adolescents across multiple regions in Nigeria. Through relatable and engaging educational materials, we’ve made a significant impact on adolescent understanding of sexual health and decision-making.

Community-Led Change

By working closely with local communities and leaders, we foster a sense of shared responsibility for adolescent well-being. This collaboration helps create safer, healthier environments for young people to thrive.
